Last Thursday, an odd thing happened on a flight from Mexico City to Guatemala: a passenger, angry about a long delay and the stifling heat, opened the emergency door and walked onto the wing. Due to a maintenance problem, the Aeromexico flight that was supposed to leave at 8:30am stayed on the tarmac for three hours. People got angry because there was no air conditioning or water available.  One passenger, who was not named, opened the escape door and stepped onto the wing in a dramatic show of protest.
